My night was incredible.  Krista, a 7 year old from Ohio, was at give kids the world with her little brother that received a Make A Wish trip to Disney World.  I was honored enough that she picked me to spend her entire night with.

Krista and I played games, talked about movies, tv, & music that we liked, and practiced our basketball shots where we gave her the new nickname “Krazy Krista.”  We had dinner together with the other voluntears and children in a gingerbread house. Then the night finished at an event called Village Idol where the children were able to show off their talents in a show complete with popcorn, judges, and an impressed audience.

When Krista’s mom picked her up I got a huge hug, and had to keep myself from crying. She was such an amazing girl and I hope the best for her and her family.

& I’m definitely going to be voluntearing again soon.
