Got some much needed pixie dust today.
When work gets tedious and things get a little bit rough, all cast members have their own ways of getting ‘pixie dust’ renewed. For me, I get my pixie dust by meeting characters and playing in the parks. And that was exactly what I did today.

Tired.
Tomorrow will be the 6th day in a row that I’m working. Tired and can’t even explain how much my work shoes suck to stand in for even an hour. I sorta kinda wish we had a snow day so I’d have a reason to stay home and do nothing at all. It’s only 10:30 and I’m already ready for bed haha. I feel old.

So these past few days have been full of roomie bonding, playing in the parks, working a lot, and finally meeting some more Disney friends that I’ve been talking to for months. I love it here, and am definitely NOT missing all of that snow back in NJ!

Spent the day in Hollywood Studios, where we had a character overload:

Work training has been insanely long, and often tedious. But it’s coming along. Tomorrow is my assessment to see if I’m ready to start working regularly. Kinda nervous, kinda not ready for the responsibility. But I had a great trainer and like the other girls that I trained with. Hopefully all works out.

Spent Friday in Animal Kingdom with some new friends. It was a lot of fun, and so nice not to worry about getting everything done in the short vacation time.

Officially a Cast Member
Officially a Cast Member as of today. After traditions training went to Epcot with Alex. Met up with new friends with Shae and Jon, and then Corri and Kirsten joined us as well. Watched illuminations too. Now back in the apartment, early training again tomorrow!

Harry Potter!!!
Went to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter today. It was AMAZING to say the least. Words can’t even explain how awesome Hogwarts and the forbidden journey were. Bought a wand at Olivanders! And had some yummy butterbeer. It was great. Kinda wish it was its own park, cause then I would definitely buy a season pass.

9th - Started my day at 330am. Flew into Orlando on an early flight and met my roomie Corri at the hotel. Technology stinks sometimes.
Cell phone isn’t working. Touch screen is faulty and now when I open it the inside screen doesn’t work. Went to Verizon and they’re shipping me a new one. Which means that I’ll be gone before it gets here most likely. Considering switching back to my old phone in the mean time; gotta have a phone in Florida!

Disney College Program - Spring 2011
As most of you already know, I leave in just a few days to begin my adventure of the Disney College Program.
